Noam Segal – Chief Executive Officer

Noam has more than 15 years experience in the defense and aerospace industry, including vast experience managing, developing and marketing technology projects in the fields of electronic warfare, SIGINT, special mission aircrafts, space and robotics.

Prior to iSi, he held senior positions leading marketing, business development, operations and sales at Elbit Systems’ Aerospace Division; G-NIUS Unmanned Ground Systems; Elisra Electronic Systems; and BIMER Ltd.

A Lieutenant Colonel (Res.) in the Israeli Air Force, Noam is a senior UAV Operator and GCI/ATC.

Noam holds a bachelor’s degree in interdisciplinary studies and an MPA from Tel-Aviv University.

Noam Zafrir

Noam Zafrir – Executive Vice President & Head of Strategic Intelligence Unit

Noam joined iSi in 2001, and oversees all aspects of marketing, project management and strategic customer relations and partnerships.

Noam's background includes more than 38 years of experience leading marketing and business development in global defense and space markets.

Prior to iSi, Noam served for 23 years in various positions at Israel Aerospace Industries (IAI) including Deputy Director of Marketing for the Missile & Space Group, Director of Corporate Marketing for Asia & Oceania, and Assistant to the Corporate VP Marketing.

Noam served in the IDF Air Defense forces with a rank of Major.

Noam holds a BA in Economics from Ben-Gurion University in Beer-Sheva and studied Mechanical Engineering at Tel- Aviv University.



Kfir Aviv

Kfir Aviv – CFO

Kfir joined iSi in 2010, as an Assistant Controller, moving quickly up the ranks to become CFO in 2013.

Prior to that, he spent four years in the audit department at Ernst & Young.

Kfir holds a BA and an MBA from the Open University of Israel.

Shlomit Wolf-Schechner

Shlomit Wolf-Schechner – VP Corporate Development & General Counsel

Shlomit joined iSi in 2006 and has over 20 years of legal and business experience. Shlomit guides strategic direction and development across the entire organization and manages iSi’s legal, regulatory and compliance activities, including negotiating and structuring satellite service agreements, purchase of satellites, government and commercial contracting, intellectual property, joint ventures, litigation and employment.

Prior to iSi, Shlomit was an associate at the New York office of the AmLaw 50 firm Arnold & Porter where she focused on public offerings, private placements, and complex contract negotiations in merger and acquisition transactions.

Shlomit holds an LLB from the Law Faculty of Tel Aviv University and is a member of the bar in Israel and the State of New York.

Dr. Natalie Fridman

Dr. Natalie Fridman – VP Research & Innovation

Natalie joined iSi in 2015 and is currently the Artificial Intelligence (AI) Chief Scientist, and Head of Research & Innovation Department where she manages the development of iSi’s newest and advanced technologies. Natalie’s expertise is algorithms in behavior analysis and prediction, decision making  systems and autonomous agents.

Natalie's background includes 8 years in MAVERICK lab, the artificial intelligence and robotics research group and a lecturer in the Computer Science Department, Bar Ilan University.

Prior to iSi, Natalie worked as an Artificial Intelligence (AI) team leader in Elbit Systems where she managed all aspects of the research in artificial intelligence fields.

Natalie holds a Ph.D in Computer Science from the Bar Ilan University. She is a President’s scholar for excellence in her Ph.D studies.

Natalie has more than 20 publications in highly refereed AI journals, conferences, book chapters and has 2 patents in algorithms in the AI field.

Chief Products & Programs Officer

Orit Akler

Orit Akler – Chief Products & Programs Officer

Orit joined iSi in 2016 as chief project officer managing iSi's development programs and amending projects, following a 25-year career in the defense and aerospace industry.

Prior to iSi, Orit served as a program officer at the IMOD and as a senior consultant for several major establishments related to Remote Sensing.

Orit holds a BSC in Mapping and Geo-Information Engineering from the Technion and was part of the first ME system Engineering program held together by the Technion and the Administration for the Development of Weapons and Technological Infrastructure (Maf'at).

Orit also graduated the course of Directors and senior officers in corporations by Tel Aviv University.

Doron Shterman

Doron Shterman – VP Engineering

Doron joined ISI in 2016 and is currently leading the engineering department responsible for the development of the company's future ground and space assets.

Doron has extensive experience in satellite system engineering, he has participated in several very high resolution satellite projects and led the development of a revolutionary nanosatellite mission. Doron is also a co-author of the first Israeli space engineering book - "Satellites and the near space".

Doron is a PhD candidate in the Electrical Engineering faculty at the Israeli Institute of Technology (Technion), focusing his research in advanced super-resolution techniques. Doron holds an M.Sc. EE in the field of nano-photonics, B.Sc. EE and B.Sc. Physics, from the Technion as well, as a member of the EE faculty excellence program. In addition Doron is an alumnus of the international space university (SSP15).
