ISI is looking for talented candidates with experience designing and implementing Guidance and Control systems for low-earth-orbit satellite applications. The lead GNC engineer is expected to be involved in and lead a wide range of engineering activities including:

• Develop accurate control methods, estimators and filters.
• Design advanced simulation tools
• Perform system stability analyses
• Specify and test complex actuator and sensor subsystems
• Implement control algorithms for flight software
• Support in-orbit operation

As a key member of our satellite design team, the lead GNC engineer will actively shape and define the performance and capabilities of our future satellite platforms.

• BSc degree in Aerospace, Physics, EE, or ME or equivalent experience
• At least 5 years with relevant experience
• Experience with design and implementation of estimation, stability and control mechanism
• Experience authoring and testing complex mathematical models

• MSc / PhD in a relevant field
• Familiarity with low-earth-orbit satellite environment
• Familiarity with satellite subsystems
Experience designing sand development S/C GNC architecture
• Expertise with testing and modelling of attitude sensors and actuators
• Expertise with embedded software in real-time control systems
